Tips If Affected by a Spider Attack

There are some tips if you get hit by a spider attack

1. Catch the spider that bites you, this is so that you or medical personnel can identify the type of spider whether it can cause poisoning or not.
2. Clean the spider bite wound, clean your spider bite immediately with running water and soap to prevent infection.
3. Use a cold compress. If the wound from being bitten by a spider hurts, try using a cold compress for about 10 minutes.
4. Use calamine lotion, if the itching does not subside, you can apply an itching reliever that contains calamine.
5. Taking pain or allergy medication, sometimes cold compresses and calamine lotion may not relieve the pain of a spider bite wound. Therefore it is necessary to take pain relievers with the aim of reducing the pain that occurs to you after being bitten by a spider.
6. Lift the affected body part, if your leg or hand has been bitten by a spider, raise that part higher than the position of the heart, this method can reduce swelling in the area around the spider bite.
7. Check the spider bite wound to the doctor, if the wound with spider digits does not heal and allergy symptoms appear that require emergency help, immediately contact the doctor and the nearest hospital.
