Control Pests and Insects Naturally (non-chemically)

However, the use of pesticides is the last action we take, education to customers is the main thing to take action to control pests and insects naturally (non-chemically) by taking into account the following provisions:

  1. Keep the environment clean, safe, and comfortable.

  2. Disappear or clean up places that are used as nests or breeding grounds for nuisance pests and insects.

  3. Pay attention to the place of storage of goods/warehouse so that it is always neatly arranged by providing a base/holder for goods with a minimum cavity of 15 cm from the floor and the distance from the building wall. 20 cm.

  4. Avoid stacks of items that are too high and wide, especially if they are rarely taken, it is better to make a rack of goods that is neatly arranged and easy to control.

  5. Make sure the storage area has sufficient circulation to avoid moisture.

  6. Close or work around all gaps that allow Pests and Insects to enter the building.

  7. Make sure used goods are also neatly stored and avoid storing used goods for too long because they can become a nest of pests and insects.

    Selection of Pesticides

To get maximum results in controlling Pests and Insects, choosing the right pesticide is very important by paying attention to the following:

    1. Know the terms used in pesticides (Trademarks, Formulation Content, Types of Formulations, Active Ingredients, MSDS, Certificates of Compost, Minister of Agriculture Decree, and Efficacy Test).
    2. Class of pesticide (based on function, based on the method of entry, based on the level of danger, and based on the content of the active ingredients).
    3. Forms of formulation (liquid, solid, and gas).

Pesticide STORAGE Pesticides are hazardous and toxic chemicals, so it is very important to prepare a special safe storage area for humans and the environment by paying attention to the following:
    1. The warehouse is outside the office building, has a special door separate from the office space.
    2. Have sufficient air circulation so that the air in the storage warehouse remains fresh and safe.
    3. Make sure the walls and floors are waterproof and easy to clean.
    4. Storage is neatly arranged in racks by ensuring all chemicals are sealed so that no one leaks, if the shelves are full, they must prepare pallets for storage on the warehouse floor.
    5. In storing and retrieving pesticides, warehouse officers are required to use complete Personal Protective Equipment to avoid contamination.

Help if an accident occurs due to Pesticides

    1. Remove the victim from the location of the pesticide accident and remove the clothing contaminated with the pesticide, followed by washing using clean water on the parts of the skin exposed to the pesticide until clean and make sure the victim remains conscious.
    2. If the pesticide gets on the face or eyes, rinse quickly with clean water until it is completely clean for about 15 minutes.
    3. If the pesticide is swallowed and the victim is still conscious, drink a glass of warm water mixed with a tablespoon of table salt or it can be assisted by tickling the victim's throat with a clean index finger until vomiting, let it continue to vomit until the water that comes out looks clear .
    4. Do not drink anything to the victim in an unconscious state.
    5. If the pesticide is inhaled by the victim and he faints, immediately take him to a place with fresh air, if he is not yet conscious, give rescue breaths so that he becomes conscious more quickly.
    6. Follow-up action, whether conscious or unconscious, immediately take the nearest hospital with the label of the pesticide exposed to the victim to the medical staff for quick and accurate action.
