Snake Anang / King Cobra (Ophiophagus hannah)

Distribution : Sumatra, Java, Sulawesi, Kalimantan, Bangka, Bali, Mentawai Islands and Riau Islands.

This snake can reach up to a size of about 6 meters, this is the largest venomous snake in the world. A bite from this snake can lead to definite death if not treated quickly. This snake has a shy nature and prefers to avoid confrontation with humans so encounters with humans are quite rare by this snake.
