Beware, Termites Can Destroy Homes!

TERMS body is small. But this one animal has tremendous power to destroy a building.

Not many people know how to prevent and control it. Because the longer termites are left in your environment, the more likely they are to cause further damage.

Termites Can Break Through Walls

These insects are uncompromising and see human interests, by damaging furniture, books, electrical cables, telephones, and stored items.

To reach their target, subterranean termites can penetrate walls several centimeters thick. And any form of building construction, such as slabs, basements or crawl spaces, can be penetrated through open holes or gaps as small as one-sixth of an inch. Both the gap in the slab around the gap in wood or plumbing, as well as the gap between the foundation and the wall, as well as on the roof truss.

Termites can also make holes in the foundation, all the way up until they reach the horses and all over the wall surface. The component parts of the building that are prone to termite attack are balconies, terraces, rain gutter connections, roof framing, ventilation, the relationship between brick walls and wooden ampik, and the relationship between brick walls and roof.

Also the angle of the wall, the angle relationship between the frame and the stone wall, the pair of walls associated with the flower tub, cracks in the brick wall, and the relationship between the wall and the foundation.

Must Do At Construction Stage

In general, the prevention of termite hazards must begin at the pre-construction stage to prevent termites from entering the building.

Pre-construction termite hazard control measures can be carried out by using a termite-resistant building design approach, using durable wood or preserved through wood preservation measures, and applying soil treatment as a chemical barrier.

If termite control is carried out after being attacked by termites, you will have to pay for repairs or renovations for the damage that has occurred. Being free from termite attacks means that routine activities will not be disturbed.

Why not anticipate termite attacks as early as possible instead of getting dizzy later? Prevention is cheaper than eradicating.

Termites Work 24 Hours

Insects are the root cause of all damage to building construction wood that works 24 days, 7 days a week, and 54 weeks a year, there are three objectives that underlie termite control service or termite control, namely preventing, eradicating and controlling.

Prevent

A very wise move, because it can anticipate termite attacks that come from outside the building. If one day there were moths flying around at dusk and one of them managed to find a place to lay their eggs, the termites from the eggs would not be able to eat the wood that had been protected by termiticides or termites and could not penetrate a layer of soil that has been protected by a termiticide.

Eradicate

Usually done by those of you who do not know and understand termite control service. This is reasonable because you may think this service is not important.

Control

The final goal really should not happen, because this is because the implementation of the service is very late and termites have spread to all parts of the building.

Termites are impossible to eradicate or can be completely eliminated, because termite traffic lanes are really wide and hidden. However, the service you get can extend the life of your building and control termite attacks so as not to cause fatal damage.

Broadly speaking, the termite control implementation is carried out in two kinds of methods, namely the first pre-construction termite control pre-construction method.

First, termite control which is carried out while the building is being built, which includes spraying the foundation excavation, spraying the entire floor or ground surface of the building before casting, and spraying the entire surface of the wood before being installed on the ceiling and roof construction.

Second, post construction termite control post-construction method. Namely, termite control which is carried out on buildings that are already standing by injecting termiticides or termite exterminators into the ground under the floor along the building’s foundation with a distance between injection holes of + 60 – 80 cm, with a max hole diameter of 13 mm. As for the wood that has been installed, spraying is done directly with termiticide.
